In Guwahati, The first T20Is will be played on January 5, the second will be in Indore on January 7 and the third will be in Pune on January 10.
The report about Rohit is that probably he will be back in January later, for the three-match ODI series which will be against Australia.
“The selectors normally don’t give rest to anyone in the T20 team, but Rohit has been on the road for quite a while now. He has informed the Board that he wants to take rest for this series,” a source in the BCCI told.
Shikhar Dhawan, who just came out from a knee injury with he was suffering during Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament in November, will be open up against Sri Lanka with KL Rahul.
