Who is the No 1 all-rounder as per the latest ICC Test ranking?

De Kock‘s 96 in the first innings has helped him move two spots to 10th position, the first time he has been in the top 10 in 18 months. The 28-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman, who is currently ranked sixth in the world, was last in the top ten in December of last year.

Captain Dean Elgar, who moved up one spot to 19th in the current weekly update after setting the tone for the success with a knock of 77, is another left-hander making improvement. After an unbroken 75 in the second innings, Rassie van der Dussen has jumped 31 places to 43rd place.

Among the bowlers from South Africa, player Kagiso Rabada is ranked between one spot to sixth in a match for 5 wickets, while Spinner Keshav Maharaj has completed the first test hat trick in South Africa for 61 years and benefited from his seven-wicket match haul, which has gone up to the 28th spot. Three spots are up to Lungi Ngidi’s 41st position.

Jermaine Blackwood of the West Indies has risen 12 places to 44th after scores of 49 and 25, while Shai Hope (up three places to 82nd) and Kieran Powell (up six places to 94th) have also risen in the rankings.

With seven wickets, fast bowler Kemar Roach is closing in on a top 10 spot, moving up one spot to 12th among bowlers. Kyle Mayers’ effective medium-fast bowling has seen him climb 51 positions to joint-53rd as he finished each innings with three wickets.

Meanwhile, former West Indies captain Jason Holder has dropped 28 rating points in the all-rounder rankings, falling below Ravindra Jadeja. The Indian left-hander, who last pitched at No. 1 in August 2017, has 386 rating points, two more than Holder.
