Quinton De Kock Named South Africa’s New ODI Captain

Quinton De Kock, the wicketkeeper-batsman of South Africa, has taken over as South Africa’s ODI team captain. The national cricket board announced that he would be the new captain.

Previously, Faf Du Plessis was the captain of South Africa’s ODI team. But now he is being replaced by the 27-year-old as captain in shorter format.

Cricket South Africa added a post on social site where it declared De Kock officially as the captain The director of CSA Graeme Smith said, “Player’s quality was not hidden from us to which Quinton De Kock has used in his growth. Within years we have seen him how he has increased his confidence level and in the world, he has presented himself as one of the top wicket-keeper batsmen of ODI.”
