Hasan, on the other hand, did not stop. He approached Babar, took the handkerchief, and put it into the latter’s shirt. Babar laughed as he took up the piece of cloth and placed it into the rear pocket of his pants. Babar was the Kings’ outstanding batter, hitting seven fours and three sixes in 54 balls and sharing a 117-run partnership with Najibullah.

His knock, though, was in naught, as the United chased down 191 with eight balls remaining. In the penultimate over, Hasan was the one who dismissed Babar. Babar and Hasan have played several matches together for Pakistan, and their friendship is noticeable.

Hasan has already said that he will withdraw from the remaining PSL matches owing to family obligations. He eventually reversed his choice and opted to participate in the games. He also thanked his wife for resolving personal problems.

“I was going through a personal family issue, which has been resolved thanks to my wonderful wife. She has assured me she will take care of it and wants me to concentrate on my cricket and my career. Hats off to such a wonderful partner,” Hasan was quoted as saying.

“She has always stood by me through the hardest times and after consulting with her I have decided to stay on with Islamabad United for the remainder of PSL 6. I would like to thank Islamabad United for their support and understanding during this tough period,” he stated.

Islamabad United Owner, Ali Naqvi, was also happy to have Hasan back in the mix. “It is fortunate for us that Hassan will be available for us through the rest of the tournament. But more importantly, we’re happy that whatever issues there were have been resolved,” Naqvi said.
