Possibly, Nitish Rana And Shivam Mavi Will Not Play For KKR

Nitish Rana And Shivam Mavi are both Indian cricketers who are members of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). According to reports, KKR may lose their services due to age fudging.

Age fudging has been one of cricket’s most problematic things, with many players using fraudulent methods to reduce their age in the age-group cricket to obtain a disproportionate advantage.

Shahid Afridi revealed himself in his book that he was 21 and not 16, as stated when he hit the 37-ball century in 1996.

The real ages of Pakistan’s new bowling sensations Naseem Shah and Muhammad Musa have raised eyebrows.

Given the vigilance of authorities, age-fudging in group-age games has become a problem even in India, and an instance was seen in Delhi cricket when two well-known names, who are part of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise were investigated.

Nitish Rana and Shivam Mavi are suspected of Age Fudging

For the upcoming season in 2020, Delhi batsman Nitish Rana and Uttar Pradesh fast bowler Shivam Mavi are both members of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR )team.

For their involvement in age-fudging, they are being investigated. KKR may lose the services of these players for IPL 2020 if allegations against them are proven to be true.

Nitish Rana was one of BCCI’s 22 players banned for the same reason in 2015 and although he is unavailable, it is highly unlikely that he could be barred from senior cricket.

There is a decision pending on the future of Rana in the game. Shivam Mavi, on the other hand, was one of the breakout stars for the Indian U19 team that won the 2018 Youth World Cup. He starred with the ball together with Kamlesh Nagarkoti and amazed everyone with his pace.

Mavi, who is 18 years old, has played 6 FC games and 16 List-A matches so far and has referred his case to the BCCI. He is expected to be one of the biggest stars in the upcoming IPL season for the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, and a ban on him could disrupt their plans.

Manjot Kalra from Delhi Capital, who scored a century in the U19 World Cup finals won by the Indian team, has been banned from participating in the age-group cricket by DDCA for two years.
