Kieron Pollard is now the first and only cricketer to play 600 matches in the shortest format of the game. The 35-year-old cricketer is currently in England playing the Hundred Cricket league, for the London Sprit side.

Even after playing 600 matches, pollard scored a brilliant unbeaten 34runs off 11 balls against Manchester Originals on 8th August. He smashed one four and four big sixes in his unbeaten innings.

Pollard has managed to score 11,723 runs from his 600 games in all the T20 games, making him the second Highest run scorer in the T20 format after Chris Gayle. Pollard has capped 309 wickets along with amazing batting performances.

Pollard in his T20 career scored one century and 56 half-centuries.

Pollard is an important player for any side he plays, he was the key player in Mumbai Indian’s success in winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) multiple times.

He won the T20 World Cup for the West Indies in 2012 but was ruled out of the winning campaign in 2016, Pollard retired from international cricket in April this year after playing International cricket for 15 years.

Pollard has played for different T20 franchises like West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago’s national team, Mumbai Indians, Melbourne Renegades, Adelaide strikers, Dhaka Dynamites, Dhaka Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Trinbago Knight Riders.

Pollard is far away from any other cricketers in terms of matches played in the T20 formats. Dwayne Bravo (543 games), Shoaib Malik (472 games), Chris Gayle (463 games), and Ravi Bopara (426 games) are the only few players who are behind pollard.
Pollard is considered one of the greatest fielders in the history of the game where he use to pluck the bowls from the thing air and set amazing examples for the other team members in the fielding department.

Jasprit Bumrah his fellow teammate from Mumbai Indians side went on to Twitter congratulating him saying “600 games, what a milestone. Amazing achievement for an amazing player, congratulations Polly”.
