Pakistan’s head coach and chief selector Misbah ul Haq announced the names of 20 probable players of the country on Monday, for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
The players will have their training camp at National Cricket Academy in Lahore from Wednesday, September 18. The ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka is scheduled to be held from September 27 to October 9.
Veteran all-rounders Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez were not included in the squad. “Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik have not been named in the probables as they have been granted NOC until 12 October to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).” – PCB mentioned.
Apart from the players in the world cup squad, the probables also include Abid Ali, Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal, Iftikhar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Usman Shinwari.
