PCB Agrees To Tour England In July But Players Won’t Be Forced

PCB Has Agreed To A Test And T20 Tour:

In July, the Test and the T20 tour of England have been ravaged with the coronavirus and its fate is to be decided by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). But it would not force the players to decide on their assignment if they have a pandemic reservation.

CEO of PCB Wasim Khan told a news network that Pakistan agreed on the three Tests and three T20 Internationals tour “in principle”. “We had a very thorough and detailed debate with the ECB on the Tours on Friday and PCB decided in principle that our cricket team would be sent to England in July,” Wasim said.

During discussions with the English Board on Friday by video conference, Pakistan agreed to play closed doors matches on the grounds of the hotels on the ground. However, the players would not be compelled to disregard their wishes.

“If a player doesn’t want to go. We’ll accept their decision and take no disciplinary action,” Khan said. However, that every player wants to join the tour based on his knowledge. Khan said that in the first week of July 25 players will fly to England. They will go on four chartered flights, and the players will be placed in quarantine

The England And Wales Cricket Board Is Struggling To Overcome A Financial Crisis:

The ECB will soon announce the third venue, said Khan. “Manchester and Southampton would be the probable location of the Test cricket. “The host country will make bio-secure arrangements and the medical staff will remain with our team during the trip. All of our players will check and daily temperature controls maintained.

In these tough times, cricket is very important, “he added. Mr. Khan said that on the tour next week he would brief Test Captain Azhar Ali and ODI and T20 Captain Babar Azam and that the tour will be prepared for all players in England in detail.

He also said that from the government we should seek clearance before touring. The BCB and Wales are dealing with a pandemic of coronavirus to solve a financial crisis during the cricket season.

The ECB announced this week that the first step towards the resumption of cricket activities in England will be the return of players to training under strict guidelines. England reported over 27,000 deaths and over 130,000 confirmed cases as a result of a pandemic.
