Things Will Change In All Sports- Pat Cummins:
The most costly player of the Indian Premier League, Pat Cummins thanked Kolkata Knight Riders head trainer Brendon McCullum. On Saturday Cummins thanked KKR coach for choosing him with a high record amount of Rs 15.5 crore in auction.
This year the number 1 ICC test bowler was scheduled for wearing the KKR jersey again in the IPL 2020. The tournament was initially scheduled for 29 March but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Like the other staff who selected me at least a few dinners, I owe Baz (McCullum). Somebody like Baz. I’ve been playing against him, is a major cricketer and an international captain, “said the Australian star bowler, who turned 27, in an online interview with KKR.
“To convince me of the fact that ‘you have something in the team that I really like.’ I think a big contract has massive obligations, but it’s more excited than anything. It brings a lot of excitement.”
“When you’re finished, you very soon forget the deal and just want to be with the squad and try and win. “The situation with COvid-19 has led to talk that saliva may no longer be allowed to shine the ball and Cummins said that there must be another option. I am very excited about this year’s squad.
We Are On The Road So Much Usually:
“All sports are going to change, I agree. But I think another option needs to be available. “When we’re able to shine the ball, I’m all right,” the player from the ICC Test said.
“You need to be able to shine the ball as a fast bowler. That is because it has so much beauty behind them, and everybody loves Test cricket. You have swing bowlers, spinners, all the various types of Test Cricket.
“I think it takes away swing bowling and swing bowling… too much more if you can’t shine the ball. Honestly, I wouldn’t want batsmen to get more runs. “Cummins spends his lockdown hour-and-a-half south of Sydney on his farm.
“I still can go for runs here, and I’ve got a simple range of weights. Here we have some cows that I milk. I did a few gardening jobs, too. So yeah, you enjoy the fresh air a bit.”There’s no cricketer at all on the farm here. It’s usually always like this, it’s my cricket getaway. We’re normally on the road and I’m here for those breaks.
