MS Dhoni Will Be Seen In The Commentary Box During The Day-Night Test

Captain cool will commentate on the opening day of the day-night Test match on November 22. He will be seen as a ‘guest’ commentator at the Eden Gardens Test match against Bangladesh.

As per IANS, all of India’s former Test captains have been invited to commentate during the historic day-night Test to be played in Kolkata. The host broadcaster Star sent an email to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly about this plan.

According to it, all the former Indian captains will be asked to share their favorite moments from India’s test history.

The actual plan reads, “Invite India Test captains for Day 1 & 2 of the Test. All captains at the ground along with (Virat) Kohli and the rest of the team as well as the dignitaries line up for the anthem. Captains appear on commentary as guests through the day to recollect their favourite moments from India’s Test history. Down memory lane segments recorded with individual captains are played on the big screen at the ground in breaks Day 4 onwards.”

It is going to be undoubtedly a feast for MS Dhoni fans. This is the first time that Dhoni will be seen in a commentary box. An invitation has been sent to former Indian skipper Dhoni by the hosts.
