Former Team India skipper, MS Dhoni, was spotted while casting his vote at a polling station in Ranchi during the third of the five-phased Assembly elections in Jharkhand on Thursday.
The former Indian skipper has not declared his retirement but has missed the bilateral series with the West Indies team, South Africa and Bangladesh team since then.
The 38-year-old wicketkeeper-cricketer, who is an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army, has joined the 106 TA Battalion (Para) in Jammu for a two-week period after taking a break from cricket.

Sourav Ganguly And Ravi Shastri Give Their Opinions On MS Dhoni’s Future:
After completing two weeks in the Army, Dhoni has been spotted spending time with family and friends. As there is speculation on his retirement, Dhoni recently broke his silence and said, “don’t ask me till January”.
Team India head coach and former Indian cricketer, Ravi Shastri, in an interview, said that Dhoni would play the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Team India head coach believes that none should “mess around with” the plans of the World Cup-winning skipper. Shastri said, “That guy is a legend. The last thing he will want is to enforce himself on an Indian team, having known him.”
“He was wanting to take a break, but he is going to play for the IPL,” Shastri added.
“… if he feels after the IPL match that ‘I am good enough to play for India team’, don’t mess around with that.”
The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly recently stated that there is a lot of time to decide the former wicket-keeper and skipper’s future. “There is transparency, but certain things cannot be told in a public platform. There is absolute clarity on MS Dhoni, and you will find out as time passes,” Ganguly added.
