MOKSH MURGAI- NATIONAL CAPITAL’S BOY ALL SET TO MAKE HIS NAME

Moksh Murgai, a 20-years old all-rounder from Delhi is a professional cricketer and a state-level athlete. He has reached heights of success with his brilliant skills and the ability to change the game single-handedly. Representing Delhi, he has played cricket at all levels and amazed people around with his talent.

Starting his professional cricket career at a young age of 7-years old, he has definitely come a long way when he was recently appointed the Sports President of DUSU (Delhi University Students’ Union), 2020. He has gone through many ups and downs but stood firm mentally and physically for his game. His family and coaches have been his constant support in this journey of 14 years. He has also led his college team to many victories under his captaincy. Hours of training at the nets and undying perseverance has made him the competent young man that he is today.

This young guy has shown his potential at the zonal, inter-zonal, and the national levels. He has also played under 14 Nationals, under 16 Nationals (junior level), and then under 19 categories (senior level), proving his worth as a skilled player. Moksh credits his success to his family and coaches, who have supported him throughout his career. His immense dedication and will power also bagged him sponsorship from SH Sports for 2019-20. Regardless of a serious back injury and numerous challenges during his career, his determination did not allow him to back down from fulfilling his dreams.

He further added, “I believe in my hard work and my love for the game. Cricket made me mentally stable, gave me a strong mindset, and the ability to build my character.” Moksh Murgai also attended the under-23 Railway camp and represented India in a tournament held in Lucknow in 2019.

With numerous achievements in his name, he is definitely a player to look out for and we wish him all the luck for his bright future.
