Michael Neser Likely To Miss Australia’s Tour Of Pakistan??

The Australian team has been set to tour Pakistan for an all-format bilateral series from March 4, the 1st time the Australians have visited the neighboring country since 1998/99 year. The tourists named their lineup for the 3-match Test series a few days ago, with bowler Pat Cummins will be captaining the side and hitting stalwart Steve Smith as his deputy. Furthermore, an injury worry has placed the present top-ranked Test team in trouble just a few weeks before the first Test. Here Is Why Michael Neser Will Miss Pakistan Tour.

Fast bowler Michael Neser has been struck with a side strain and will miss the Test series versus Pakistan. Neser was injured during a Marsh One-Day Cup encounter in Brisbane on Monday, and it is unknown whether he would be able to play again. The South African-born player has only played one Test for Australia, which came during the 2nd Ashes Test versus England at the Adelaide Oval.

Uncapped Queensland’s Mark Steketee has been replaced Neser spot

Michael Naser was confident enough to make the ball do the talking on Pakistani territory, as Australia seeks to establish Test domination in Asia with the next bilateral series. The 31-year-old was hoping to get back into the swing of things with some strong results in domestic competition. Eventually, an unexpected blow caused him to leave the field.

During the innings break between New South Wales and Queensland, Neser hurt himself when getting up to bowl. He then seemed to be in pain, but he went out of his way to keep bowling and kept trying to bowl a few more delivery. The 2nd one was a wide ball, so the bowler had to leave the field and was unable to compete for any more. Mark Steketee, an uncapped Queensland speedster, has taken his spot.

With the exception of Naser, Australia has already been lacking a pacer going into the Pakistan Test series. Jhye Richardson, a potential pace bowler, will be missing the red-ball series the following month. He has been sidelined as part of the team’s workload.
