Melbourne Renegades Vs Perth Scorchers T20 Prediction

ABOUT THE MATCH:

The 26th Match of Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20 is scheduled to be played between Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers at Geelong’s Kardinia Park on January 7.

Melbourne Renegades have now lost six from six after their derby defeat to Melbourne Stars. One of the key players for Renegades – Harry Gurney has suffered a serious hamstring recently. So, he has been rested for a couple of weeks. Renegades still have Aaron Finch and Kane Richardson but it will be their last match before they join Australia’s limited-overs squad.

On the other hand, Perth Scorchers have performed well so far in the season. They have faced a defeat against Hobart Hurricanes by eight runs and fell short of chasing 181 runs. It was their 4th loss this season.

TOSS PREDICTION:

In BBL so far, teams that have fielded first have won more matches. So the teams might choose to bowl first here as well.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS:

The Pitch at Geelong’s Kardinia Park is a well-balanced track as it supports both batsman and bowlers.

The conditions for the day look humid and windy and the chances of rain in the 2nd half of the game are low.

Sam Harper (wk), Aaron Finch (c), Shaun Marsh, Dan Christian, Beau Webster, Tom Cooper, Will Sutherland, Cameron Boyce, Kane Richardson, Richard Gleeson, Tom Andrews
