Listing 5 Cricketers With The Worst Disciplinary Record In IPL History

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the best leagues in the world of cricket. IPL History is the place where all the best players around the world play for different teams along with local Indian talents. The tournament has fueled the rise of several players who have gone on to make their country proud. In IPL History some worst moments have look below now.

There is so much competition in the league since all the teams are somewhere equally good. But, here is another side of competitiveness, that is indiscipline amongst the players. The heat of the moment brings out a side of a player that many of us do not admire. We all will always remember the fight between Mitchell Starc and Keiron Pollard.

Here are 5 cricketers with the worst disciplinary record in IPL history:

1. Keiron Pollard

Keiron Pollard has played all the season for Mumbai Indians and has always been a finisher & match-winner for the team throughout the seasons. Over a decade, he continues to amaze his fans with his brutal striking of the cricket ball. Adding on, Pollard can bowl in a couple of valuable overs whenever the bowling attack is leaking runs.

However, Pollard has a history when it comes to going off books in the IPL. During an IPL game, he attempted to throw the bat at Mitchell Starc. As a result of this, Pollard lost 75% of his match fees. Later on, he was charged under article 2.2.7 of the IPL’s code of conduct.

2. Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh has played for the two most successful teams in the IPL and won it all with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. However, during an IPL game between Mumbai Indians and KXIP, everybody witnessed Harbhajan Singh slapping S Sreesanth. After the match, Harbhajan slapped the Indian seamer. Later on, the off-spinner was fined, and the penalty was a fine of 100 per cent match fees.

3. Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc replicates a vintage Aussie when it comes to sledging. One of the incidents happened during a game between the Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. After beating Pollard with a jaffer, he went up to the Windies international for some banter. As Starc ran in to bowl the next ball, Pollard pulled off and this provoked Starc.

As a result of which he threw the ball towards Pollard. And, Pollard responded by swinging his bat hard and it slipped out of his hand. This was an ugly incident that remains fresh in the minds of the IPL fans.

4. Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir has been in the news because of his off-field actions. In the international arena, he has sledged multiple cricketers from Pakistan and Australia. His Banter with Shahid Afridi is well known among Indian fans. The same is been repeated in IPL while he has seen abusing cricketers like Virat Kohli and many more.

In 2016, Gambhir was fined 15 per cent of his match fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during an IPL match

5. S Sreesanth

Sreesanth was doing amazing in their career where he went on to win a T20 World cup and also the 2011 ODI world cup.

But an IPL game in 2013, changed his life forever. In 2013, he was involved in a spot-fixing scandal, and his teammate, Ankeet Chavan was banned for life by the BCCI. And as a result, he was banned for seven long years by the board. Well, this has to go as the worst disciplinaries in IPL history.
