Virat Kohli Advised The World To Be Careful:

Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, advised the world “be careful” to fight against the novel coronavirus. As per the number of registered cases, who are affected by the COVID-19, this virus has termed as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation(WHO).

On Saturday, he tweeted on his official twitter handle, “Let’s stay healthy and fight the #COVID outbreak by taking all precautionary measures. Stay protected and safe, be vigilant, and, most importantly, remember that prevention is better than cure. Please take care, everyone”.

The global sports calendar, including cricket, football has destroyed by the Coronavirus outbreak. In India, the ongoing tour of South Africa is cancelled after the first ODI, which is withdrawn, even not bowling a single ball. Also, The IPL has been postponed from March 29 to April 15 by the BCCI officials.

Due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic, the Indian government has rejected international visas, other than a few expectations until April 15.

Lockie Ferguson And Kane Richardson Were Hospitalized:

Lockie Ferguson, the New Zealand cricketer, has been hospitalized after the test complaining of a sore throat. He is a player who is playing the ongoing ODI series against Australia, but that ODI series has also been cancelled.

New Zealand Cricket board said, “Ferguson had been placed in isolation at the team hotel for the next 24 hours by directed health obligations. Once the test results are out and diagnosed, his return to the team can be defined.”

on Friday, New Zealand loses the first ODI series by 71 runs against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground behind the closed gates.

On Thursday, Australian bowler Kane Richardson was also hospitalized after representing a sore throat, but he was declared as clear of the virus, and he can rejoin teammates at the SCG on Friday.

As per schedule, the second ODI is also to be held at the SCG on Sunday, with the third in Hobart next Friday. Fans are not allowed for all matches.
