Latest ICC ODI Ranking: Virat Kohli And Jasprit Bumrah Maintain Top Positions Among Men

Indian Captain Virat Kohli and fast bowling sensation Jasprit Bumrah on Thursday maintained their top positions in the latest ICC men’s ODI player rankings. In the ODI batting chart, Kohli and his deputy partner Rohit Sharma stood on number one and two positions, respectively, while Bumrah maintained his position at the top of the bowling category.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir, who took four wickets in the three-match home series against Sri Lanka, stood at the seventh position after jumping six spots. The left-arm fast bowler, who retired from Test matches his year, is focussing on white-ball cricket. His last highest position was 10th in June this year.

Usman Shinwari, another left-arm fast bowler from Pakistan, got off to a great start by jumping 28 slots to grab 43rd position after finishing with six wickets in a match, including a five-wicket haul that won him the player of the match award in the second ODI.

The left-handed batsmen Fakhar Zaman ( moving up two places to 16th) and Haris Sohail (moving up three places to 32nd) are the others from Pakistan to climb up in the list. Sri Lanka’s Danushka Gunathilaka has achieved his career-best 70th place after a century in the final match.

In the ICC men’s ODI team rankings, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are placed in sixth and eighth positions, respectively.
