Grant Flower To Face Disciplinary Inquiry On Bio-Bubble Violation In ENG

Sri Lankan batting coach, Grant Flower was also one of the group individuals who screened positive for COVID-19 after arriving from England. He was probably infected with the dangerous virus a day after arriving in Sri Lanka, raising concerns in the Lankan camp, since their limited-overs series with India was expected to begin on July 13, but it had to be delayed and will now begin on July 18. Let’s look at Grant Flower To Face An Inquiry from SLC.

In the meantime, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is dissatisfied with Grant Flower’s performance. After reportedly breaching the bio-bubble during the series against England, the Ex-Zimbabwe player now will undergo an investigation.

Flower, also had concerns with vaccinations, preferring Pfizer over the Russian and Chinese versions supplied to the rest of the Sri Lankan players and support personnel. If the batting coach of the Lankan Lions is proven guilty after the investigation, he might face severe punishment.

Dhawan Leads A 20-Man Group Includes  Six-Uncapped Players

Sri Lanka and India will play a white-ball series on July 18, and both squads are working out to stay fit and healthy. Indian players are now sweating it out in the gym and playing intra-squad matches. Shikhar Dhawan leads a 20-man group that includes 6 uncapped players.

The six uncapped players were recently spotted and they appeared to be joyful. Nitesh Rana, Chetan Sakariya, and Varun Chakravarthy might participate in the T20 format, while Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devdutt Padikkal could play ODIs.

The Lankan team, on the other hand, reached a new low by losing their fifth T20I series in a row against England. The team’s performance in the ODI series was also poor, resulting in a lot of disappointment and fury among critics, analysts, and supporters.

As most of the players returning to their country and Team India not sending a full team, Sri Lanka will aim to fight back once the limited-overs series begins on July 18 against India.
