Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced a 21-day lockdown in the country, which ends on April 14. The government has issued strict orders for people to stay in their homes during the lockdown. Fewer people are coming out and breaking the rules. So, Kerala police have used a new way to catch people wandering the streets in such dire circumstances.
They took the famous Ravi Shastri‘s Tracer Bullet Challenge to another level. The term tracer bullet is not popular with any other Indian head coach, Ravi Shastri. Before taking up the coaching role, he challenged his commentary partners to adopt the Tracer Bullet Challenge.
Kerala Police on its toes to find rule violators
The Kerala police used Ravi Shastri’s audio as a background score in the clip of the Tracer Bullet Challenge, and they shared it on social media. They are currently on a campaign to identify those who violate the regulations on lockdown. So, they took the help of drones in their quest to find dissenters. By that, they are tracking people who are out of their homes and are taking action accordingly.
The Kerala police took to their official Twitter handle and shared a clip of the drone flying in the air equipped with cameras. The drone in the clip gives out real information about the people who are out. Interestingly, the clip they shared contained a background commentary by Ravi Shastri, in which the term “Tracer Bullet Challenge” can hear.
Ravi Shastri himself admitted their great effort in quoting the Kerala police tweet. He immediately took to his Twitter handle and said, “Very innovative. He requested that people stay in their homes and support everyone in such dire circumstances.
