Jofra Archer Condemns Racist Abuse On His Social Media Account

Jofra Archer Criticizes Racist Abuse:

England’s well-known bowler Jofra Archer has got extremely angry at the racial abuse he received from Instagram and told the authorities to handle this issue properly. On Monday (16.03.2020), Archer has posted an image of a message he got on his Instagram account and said that he could not understand why people make this type of comment.

He wrote in his Instagram story that “I have thought several times to react on this and hope nobody has to deal with these kinds of stuff regularly, it can’t be acceptable in any way and should be handled properly”.

Further, he added that “I can’t understand how someone feels so easy to say these kinds of things to another person, it confuses me”. This event is not the first time that the 24-year-old, Jofra Archer has been into racial abuse, who has a great significance in the England national team and help the team to win the 2019 World Cup.

In the last year of November, at the closing time of the first Test against New Zealand, he was racially abused after he scored 30 runs in the second innings and in that test, England defeated, which held in Mount Maunganui.

After the test, Archer had tweeted that “one thing is troubling me hearing racial abuse today when I am struggling to save my team. The whole crowd has been wonderful this week except that person.”

After his tweet, New Zealand Cricket took this matter seriously and in the month of January, they had found a 28-year old person, who confesses the mistake and the board banned him from attending domestic as well as international games in the country for two years.
