Jason Holder destroyed England’s T20 prospects on Sunday (January 30), upon grabbing 4 wickets in the last 4 deliveries to contribute the West Indies to a 17-run win in Barbados and seal a 3-2 series lead against the visitors. The holder dismissed Saqib Mahmood to become the 4th player in T20 history to record 4 wickets in 4 balls, after sacking Chris Jordan, Sam Billings, and Adil Rashid in back-to-back deliveries. Despite getting 179/4, the West Indies handed England a total of 180 to succeed, with skipper Kieron Pollard forging ahead with 41 off 25 deliveries. After dropping Jason Roy with only 8 runs on the scoreboard, England regained their composure as James Vince smashed 55 before being taken by Akeal Hosein.

“Not the best of starts but (we were) just trying to stay in the game. People are seeing what I can do and giving me the responsibility. Every time I step on the field it’s about what I can deliver for the team,” Holder said.
Billings decided to take up England’s desperate effort to chase the West Indies score, however, the downfall began when Jordan was caught by Hayden Walsh off Holder. Billings has been bowled next ball by the same combo, and Rashid and Mahmood were swiftly on their road back to the dugout as the West Indies won the series finale in dominating way. Holder has been awarded ‘Player of the Match’ for his outstanding performance with the ball in his hand. However, in a tightly fought series between both the teams in the West Indies.

4 wickets in 4 balls in the last over by @Jaseholder98 gives the West Indies the series. A series where batting first was the advantage. 4 wins from 5 from the team batting 1st. #EngvWI #WIvENG
