IPL 2021: Presenting You The Top 3 Batsmen of IPL So Far

Much awaited IPL 2021 has begun and there have been some great games throughout. We started with a last-ball thriller between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) where the Virat Kohli-led side managed to win the game with the help of AB de Villiers.

Delhi Capitals won the match with the help of openers where they went on having a partnership of 138 runs. Nitish Rana helped KKR win their first match. We saw one of the best matches between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals where 438 runs were scored in one match. Mumbai Indians alarmed everyone why they are the champions after unbelievable death bowling yesterday against Kolkata Knight Riders.

There are batsmen who shined throughout the matches so far and we’re mentioning the top 3 batsmen of IPL so far.

Presenting Top 3 Batsmen Of IPL 2021 So Far

3. KL Rahul

Last year, Kings XI Punjab skipper KL Rahul won the IPL 2020 Orange Cap even when his team got eliminated from the IPL playoff race. The Indian batsman was the first one to cross the 600-run mark and he scored 670 runs in 14 matches at an average of 55.83 to finish on top of the leading run-scorer tally.

This year he’s continuing the same form where he scored 91 runs of just 50 balls against Rajasthan Royals. He went onto hit 5 sixes all over the park and in every direction. KL Rahul looked comfortable batting and he’ll be the top contender to win the orange match this year too.

2. Nitish Rana

Nitish Rana went on to score 80 runs in his first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). We all know the bowling quality of SRH which includes Rashid Khan, T Natarajan, Bhuvenashwar Kumar and M Nabi. Nitish Rana smashed 9 boundaries and 4 sixes against this bowling attack. This determines what he can do against another bowling attack.

Nitish Rana was a lone warrior last night against Mumbai Indians where he scored 57 runs in 47 runs according to the situations. Again playing Mumbai Indians bowlers is tough. He’ll be an exciting figure to watch in upcoming games.

1. Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson has taken over the captaincy of Rajasthan Royals and with captaincy comes responsibilities to win the games. Samson almost took Royals home in the first match with his breathtaking innings of 119 runs off 63 balls but was caught off the game’s final ball. Sanju Samson respected the bowlers and took his time in the start but there was no stopping him when he started connecting. He was outrageous in the end and Samson, who effortlessly struck 7 sixes and 12 fours were so confident throughout. Sanju Samson’s sensational hundred on his captaincy debut went in vain but he outplayed everyone by his innings.
