The final-over flourish of Krunal Pandya, 6, 4, 4, 6 off the last four balls, gives Mumbai the momentum that goes into the second innings. On 25 out of 13, Pollard remained unbeaten even as Hardik was dismissed for 28 out of 19 in the last over.

As ever, Rashid Khan was cost effective, returning 1/24 from four overs. Even though they got two wickets each, Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul were costly.
