Chennai Super Kings Won The Match By 10 Wickets:
After recording a huge 10-wicket victory over Kings XI Punjab in Dubai on October 4, Chennai Super Kings put an end to their bad run. Openers Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis displayed an outstanding display in search of the 179-run target as they remained unbeaten, slamming 83 and 87 runs respectively.
Whereas du Plessis settled for as many fours, Watson pounded 11 boundaries and 3 sixes. On the points table, this vctory brought Chennai Super Kings to 7th place. KXIP had claimed the toss earlier and elected to bat first. Kings XI Punjab were led to 178/4 by an opening 61-run stand between KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal. For this face-off, he made three huge changes to the squad-Mandeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, and Chris Jordan came in for Karun Nair, K Gowtham, and James Neesham. But Watson and du Plessis made all their actions worthless.
