RCB won the toss initially and elected to bat. To help his side post a 146-run goal, Virat Kohli scored half a century. CSK had a good start, and opener Ruturaj Gaikwad remained unbeaten.
He grabbed his half-century maiden IPL, scoring 65 runs from 51 deliveries. Sam Curran took three wickets for CSK in the Bowlers’ Department, while Yuzvendra Chahal notched a dismissal in four overs. RCB are third in the table after the victory, with 14 points. CSK, meanwhile, climbed to seventh with 8 points.
