At the Emirates Old Trafford in August 2011, Rahane made his international debut in Twenty20I against England. In September 2011 his debut in ODI was against the same side.
Meanwhile, during the test match against Australia at Arun Jaitely Stadium in New Delhi in March 2013, the Indian batsman received his maiden national cap in the longest format of the match.
Since then, 375 runs in 20 T20Is have been registered, and 90 ODIs have run for the Men in blue.
In 65 tests he’s played so far, Rahane has amassed 4,203 runs.
The IPL 2020 was all set for Delhi Capitals to feature Rahane, who has also smashed 3,820 runs in 140 Indian Premier League ( IPL) matches he has played up to now.
The Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) however postponed the IPL indefinitely in April because of the coronavirus.
