Indian Test cricketers are set to receive a salary rise soon, with the BCCI hoping to turn around the mounting lack of passion among new players in the red-ball format. According to media sources, the BCCI is considering boosting test fees due to the recent trend of players choosing to save themselves for the Indian Premier League (IPL) while avoiding red-ball cricket.
