India Squad against England: In a significant development for cricket enthusiasts, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled India’s squad for the remaining three Tests against England. With the series currently level at 1-1, the upcoming matches promise intense action as both teams vie for supremacy on Indian soil.

In a strategic move, the selectors have opted to introduce Bengal pacer Akash Deep into the squad in place of Avesh Khan. This decision aims to provide Akash Deep with valuable exposure at the international level, nurturing his talent for future challenges. Avesh Khan, on the other hand, will compete in the Ranji Trophy.

Kohli’s Absence and Siraj’s Return

Notably, Indian skipper Virat Kohli will continue to be absent from the squad due to personal reasons. Kohli, who according to multiple reports is expecting his second child with actress Anushka Sharma.

However, the team management remains confident in their ability to perform admirably in Kohli’s absence.

In a welcomed return, pace sensation Mohammed Siraj makes his way back into the squad after being rested for the second Test. Siraj’s fiery pace and ability to generate movement off the pitch have been pivotal for India in recent times, and his inclusion strengthens the team’s bowling attack.
