Ind Vs Nz: Rohit Sharma Settled 3rd T20I For Visitors In Super Over

The third T20I Of India Vs New Zealand was at its finishing point, and the match was tied when Both teams decided to go for a super over. In super over New Zealand came to bat and scored 17 runs. After that India made 20 runs and won the series. In that match the performance of Rohit Sharma was amazing. He slammed two sixes in super over which was brilliant.

This match was finished as one of the historic wins of India. Earlier, 179/5 was posted by India and New Zealand, there was an impressive run of Kane Williamson which was 95. The hosts were unable to get over the line and they managed to score 179/6 in response.

During the final over of the game when the ball was handed to Mohammed Shami, firmly the situation was in control of New Zealand and they had to score 9 runs to win and at the moment Williamson was in good form. When Williamson hit a six on the first ball of Shami the situation was not in favor of India. 

However, Shami made a come back strongly and dismissed Willamson. With his bowling, Tim Seifert was also unable to score more than a run. In the last ball, they were in need to score 1 run while Shami placed the ball in the blockhole and into his stumps Ross Taylor was able to manage that ball.

Super Over Batting Of Both Teams

In the Super Over Willamson and Martin Guptill came to bat for New Zealand. And for the first two balls Jasprit Bumrah kept them quiet. But shortly the flow of runs opened, as off the third delivery, there was a six. Off the final ball, Guptil hit a boundary. In six-ball hosts could score 17 runs.

In response, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came to bat made a slow start as they made just three runs in the first two balls. Tim Southee was at bowling point. Further, Tim bowled and on the third ball KL Rahul made a fine leg boundary but still, the situation was looking difficult. However, Rohit was in good form and in the last two balls he hit two brilliant sixes and India registered a historic victory. In New Zealand, it was the first-ever series victory of India.
