Vihari’s dedication to the game can be gauged from the fact he played in the Tamil Nadu CA league on Tuesday for his employers Nelson CC. He made 202 not out in a tied game against Alwarpet CC.

“I work for Nelson, and when I’m open, I’m dedicated to playing. It was proper preparation for the contest. I am now living at Hyderabad. For the time being, I’ll be taking a break,” he said.
Vihari, who debuted in England, has a decent Test record of 552 runs in nine games with a ranking of just under 37.
“I trust myself, and the team knows I can excel overseas,” he added.
