Beyond the Boundary’, a nostalgic documentary:
On the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, a retrospective documentary film will be released, named by ‘Beyond the Boundary’ on a famous American online streaming platform, Netflix on 14th August 2020.
In a statement, ICC said that the documentary will cover up the entire journey of the top players of the world at the massive women’s cricket tournament ever.
The film is a festivity of the 17-day event. It signifies the appearance of new cricketing stars in the women’s cricket. It also imprisons the development of the sides and all the sentiments of the included players as they discuss training for such a big tournament and twisting points in various matches.
The outlook of the administrators, commentators, large carnival of crowds, behind-the-scenes, as well as some clips of dressing room tape, and also renowned pop star Katy Perry’s manifestation are all part of the documentary movie.
The documentary film is actually the part of the pure Cricket project launched by the International Cricket Council (ICC), a couple of hours before the final match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in front of the 86,174 spectators, which was a record.
The Chief Executive officer of ICC, Manu Sawhney said “All we are feeling very proud because of the fantastic documentary film ‘Beyond the Boundary. We are very much pleased to be partnered with the popular online streaming platform Netflix as part of our long-term promise to enhance the visibility of the women’s cricket and ensuring it has a worldwide platform”.
The documentary will be released on the OTT platform with subtitles with Thai, French, Malay, English, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, and Dutch.
