In what could be called an act of gratitude, the ICC took on to Twitter on Sunday to salute the work of Indian all-rounder Joginder Sharma.
Joginder Sharma who famously bowled the last few overs of the T20 world cup during the year 2007 played a critical role in helping India register their victory for their tournament.
After serving the Indian team, Sharma was spotted serving the country on a pitch altogether on Sunday. Sharma who is currently serving his duties as Deputy Superintendent Of Police of Haryana has been helping his state and India as a whole to fight against Coronavirus Pandemic. He was seen going around his area and then directing his personnel to do the needful in spreading awareness on the same and then lending a helping hand to the needy in distress.

Joginder Sharma has 77 first-class games to his name for the Indian cricket team. He was supposed to be the mainstay of the team, post his 2007 stint, but his Cricketing career did not go as planned and he retired in 2018 December.
Nationwide Lockdown Continues:
India was placed under the 21 day lockdown period starting from 24th midnight in an attempt to arrest the spread of Coronavirus infection.
And anyone who ignored the above orders was to face two years of jail with fine or both.
The 13th edition of IPL2020 which was a much-awaited event for the Indian Cricket fans was suspended till 15th April. IPL 2020 was scheduled to start on 29th March.
