ICC Rankings: KL Rahul At No. 2, Rohit Sharma Enters In Top 10

Against New Zealand, the dominant team India displays its strength which saw them complete a historic 5-0 whitewash. And for this whitewash, they have performed well and played with full flow of the game as it has led to the huge jump in ICC T20I rankings for players.

The three Indian batsmen have been in the recent updates of ranking now. With Rohit Sharma in the top 10 after another impressive outing, he has moved to 10th position.

Virat Kohli, the captain of India who not played the last match is maintaining his 9th rank in the standings. While KL Rahul who was lucky in the series also kept wickets and he has moved on up to 2nd position. Rahul remains far away from the second position behind Babar Azam, who is on the top position.

Jasprit Bumrah Occupies His Place Among Bowlers

Between the bowlers, the player continued into international cricket to make his comeback with a couple of sensational performances is Jasprit Bumrah, who occupies 11th position and he has jumped 26 positions. In the list, among bowlers he is the highest-ranked Indian.

Jasprit Bumrah is like a class act. To come back in a full rhythm – it took 2-3 matches. For some bowlers, it took a lot of time to make them come back from injuries. Today Bumrah looked a class apart like a couple of series have been taken by him. For him, 3 for 12 was just superb. In the death overs, Bumrah will not allow you to score 25-30 runs.

In the list, the first two slots have been occupied by the Afghan duo of Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman. To their T20I season, India has made a great start.
