All His Performances Were Match Winning Performances:
At the moment, there is just no stopping Shikhar Dhawan. In the new Indian Premier League ( IPL) 2020, the opener of the Delhi Capitals continues to pile up runs as he registered another century in the ongoing match against Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday.
This was his second century in a row, and he became the first player ever to score centuries back-to – back in the IPL. He had played a match-winning knock of 101 not out against Chennai Super Kings in his previous outing. Having failed to manage a single fifty in his first six innings of the ongoing game, in his last four innings, the southpaw has now scored four fifty-plus scores while getting out only once.
Against KXIP, after Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat first, he remained unbeaten on 106 to help his side score 164 for 5 in the allocated 20 overs. 61 balls came off his knock and were studded with 12 fours and three sixes. During his knock, he also became only the fifth player to reach the 5,000-run mark in IPL.
Barring Shikhar Dhawan, none of the other batsmen from the Delhi Capitals managed to get started. As he managed to score just 7 out of 11 balls, Prithvi Shaw’s poor run of form continued while Rishabh Pant, who was returning from injury, scored 14 out of 20.
The likes of Marcus Stoinis and Shreyas Iyer were also unable to get going, but Shikhar Dhawan made sure to lead his side to a decent number. Soon after he had achieved his height, the cricketing brotherhood went to Twitter to congratulate him for his knock.

One of the reasons you always stay with Shikhar Dhawan, especially in white ball cricket, is that when he gets on a roll, he is unstoppable. And a genuine match winner.
