Former England Captain, Michael Vaughan Lauded Rishabh Pant has shown in his wicket-keeping. The Englishman lauded the performance of the 23-year-old behind the stumps in the second Test match against England in Chennai.
In-form Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant clinched two spectacular diving catches in England’s first innings. In the second innings, he made a couple of sharp stumpings, as batsmen – Daniel Lawrence and Moeen Ali- stepped out of the crease but Pant remained composed and stumped them out.
Micheal Vaughan, who has played in 82 Tests for England between 1999 to 2008, said that one good match doesn’t make Pant a good wicketkeeper. In the second Test on the Chepauk, Pant took two unbelievable catches and affected two superlative stumpings. He didn’t look stressful in unusual turning track with R Ashwin and Axar Patel on Spin.

Vaughan feels one Test is not enough to call Pant a good wicketkeeper. “I will be honest. I think the biggest positive for the Indian team for Rishabh’s keeping. I think that had been a massive question mark over the Indian team,” Vaughan told Cricbuzz.
