Everytime He Was Out I Would Go Into My Room And Cry- Nitish Rana

I Was A Sourav Ganguly Fan And My Father Adored Sachin Tendulkar:

Nitish Rana has been one of the most promising Indian domestic cricket talents in the last couple of years. The batsman from Delhi had some great IPL years, and the batsman has prepared for a great future. The batsman revealed his childhood idols in a newly published interview.

It was not shocking that Rana himself was a massive fan of Sourav Ganguli as a left-hand batsman. The 26-year-old revealed during the interaction that at times after Ganguly got out, he cried and locked himself into the room. He also said his family had many favorites. His father was a Sachin Tendulkar ‘s fan, and his brother particularly liked Rahul Dravid.

“In our family, we used to struggle. My brother was a fan of Rahul Dravid, my father adored Sachin Tendulkar, and I was a Sourav Ganguly fan. Every time Ganguly got out, my father would tell me something. Nitish Rana said during the latest chat with the media show ‘The Spicy Pitch’ that he used to run into his room, locked it and sob, and get angry.

I Never Thought That I Can Be A Part Of IPL: Nitish Rana:

For Mumbai Indians, Rana made his IPL debut in 2016. It was the following year that the gunman started to have more opportunities. He was immediately hit in the cash-rich league because of his power and capability to adjust the IPL ‘s conditions.

In 2018 he was purchased for a big amount by Kolkata Knight Riders. He has grown his game from strength to strength since he entered the franchise. It also opened doors for him to represent India A. He is also a strong domestic performer for Delhi.

Rana addressed his early exposures to the IPL and admitted that during the first years of the league, she would go to watch Delhi’s Daredevils games( now it is called Delhi Capitals). He also recalled the time Delhi played along with Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, and AB de Villiers.

“I never believed I could be an IPL member. I used to watch matches for 4 or 5 seasons because I liked Akshay Kumar, and he was back then with Delhi Daredevils. I liked AB de Villiers, and at that time, Gautam Gambhir was in Delhi. There was also Virender Sehwag. I figured if they didn’t play, then they didn’t see anything, “added Rana.
