BCCI confirmed that no mega player auction will be conducted for the 14th edition of IPL (IPL 2021). Instead, BCCI will conduct the mini-auction by mid-February. The full-fledged mega-player auctions will now be conducted for IPL 2022, once the two new rumored teams are on board next year.
Teams will be looking for a rebuild and scouts will be looking for long-term captains, destructive foreign players, and local talents to make an ideal XI for winning an IPL.

David Warner Confirms That Teammate Kane Williamson Will Not Be Going Anywhere Else In The IPL.
Kane Williamson currently plays for the IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad, which is captained by David Warner. Sunrisers Hyderabad fans will be hoping to have Kane Williamson on their side. Recently, an SRH fan tweeted to David Warner about clarity over Williamson’s future with the franchise.
The tweet read: “Sir we are hearing that Kane Williamson is going to another team by inside trading we need clarity about it will we have @NotNossy Kane Back into @SunRisers Love from INDIA”
David Warner, while replying to the fan, said “First I have heard of this. Kane will not be going anywhere”.

Australia vs India: Warner out of the second Test
On Wednesday, Warner was ruled out for the second Test against India after failing to recover in time from the groin damage he sustained the 2nd ODI. He will now look to make a comeback within the New Year’s Test in Sydney.

The second Test between India and Australia begins December 26 in Melbourne and the hosts go into the Test with a 1-0 lead, having won the preceding day-night Test in Adelaide by eight wickets. The remaining two Tests will be played in Sydney (January 7-11) and Brisbane (January 15-19).
