From Dubai, the CSK CEO said “apart from those 13 members, all other members have tested COVID-19 negative. On Thursday (03-09-2020), they will undergo another test. Most probably, the team will begin their training on Friday (04-09-2020). Ruturaj and Deepak will finish their 14-days quarantine period and after completion, they will join the training session after getting two negative tests according to the protocol.”
After the completion of the quarantine period, the 13 infected members will again be tested for COVID-19. In those 13 members of CSK, Ruturaj and Chahar are only two players, the maximum members are from the social media group of CSK and other staff members are not related to coaching.
Suresh Raina, who is one of the most commanded stars of CSK has already returned India for some personal reasons. The Chennai Super Kings is yet to find for any worth replacement for Suresh Raina.
While there have been thoughts of providing enough time to getting trained but there is also a probability that Chennai Super Kings will play against defending champions, Mumbai Indians in the opening match of the IPL, which is scheduled to be held at 3 venues- Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
