Coronavirus: Anil Kumble Donates An Undisclosed Amount

Former Head Coach Of India Anil Kumble Has Donated An Unrevealed Amount To The Karnataka CM Relief Fund & PM CARES:

Now, the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic is reached at the crucial stage. The whole country is scared to get into the third stage of the coronavirus which begins the community transmission. As per now, the Government of India has confirmed that India hasn’t got into the third stage. But the battle against the pandemic still continues to save people and the cricketing fraternity of India is doing its part with the donations to the relief funds.

Former head coach of team India Anil Kumble has made his contribution of an unrevealed amount to the Karnataka Chief Minister Relief Fund and Prime Minister CARES Fund. Also, he requested his fans & followers to stay safe and strong in these critical situations. According to him, everyone has to fight against this deadly virus simultaneously to eliminate COVID19 from India.

The former Indian bowler Anil Kumble took his official Twitter account on Tuesday (31st March 2020) to confirm his contribution to the relief funds. But, he didn’t reveal the amount.

He quoted “ To bowl out the dangerous #Covid19 India we all have to come together and fight against it. I have done my bit by contributing to #PMNRF #PMCaresFund and #CMReliefFund @narendramodi @PMOIndia@BSYBJP @CMofKarnataka. Please do #StaySafeStayHome.”

Kohli And Anushka Also Didn’t Reveal Their Donation Amount

Apart from Anil Kumble, the Indian national team captain Virat Kohli with his wife Bollywood star Anushka Sharma donated an undisclosed amount to the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund and the PM CARES Fund. But, from a different source, it is confirmed that they have donated Rs. INR 3 crores to the Relief funds.

On Tuesday (31st March 2020), Indian opener Rohit Sharma also donated Rs. 80 lakh to different relief funds, which includes  Rs. 25 lakh to the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund and Rs. 45 lakh to PM CARES Fund while Rs. 5 lakh each to the Welfare of Stray Dogs and Zomato’s Feeding India initiative.
