Bangladesh and England are playing a lot of cricket before the T20-WC: BCB chief executive

In September and October, England, as well as Bangladesh, were scheduled to play 3- ODIs and as many T20Is. However, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury has stated that the series versus England will be rescheduled after the T20 World Cup.

“Both the teams [Bangladesh and England] are playing a lot of cricket before the T20 World Cup, so we are discussing with the ECB whether the series can be hosted after the World Cup,” said the BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury.

“If the series is pushed to after the T20 World Cup, we have to know when it can be hosted. If the two teams don’t have a gap in the calendar at the same time, we can hold it on the original dates,” he added.

The BCCI revealed the plan for the remaining portion of the IPL 2021, which would be contested in the UAE, last month. It will be 27 days course, a total of 31 games will be played. The 14th season, which was delayed in the month of May due to the COVID outbreak, will begin on 19th September in Dubai, with a showdown involving Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

After that, the attention will transfer to Abu Dhabi, in which the KKR will take on the RCB. The match will be involving RCB and CSK which will be performed in Sharjah on 24th September. There will be 13 matches in Dubai, 8 in Abu Dhabi, and 10 in Sharjah.
