The England tour will start with the T20s on September 4, 6 and 8:
As per the report, the “bio-secure” tour of the Australian team to England consisting of three T20Is and a couple of ODIs, which are scheduled to start on 4th September.
The report stated that the England tour will begin with T20Is, which are played on September 4, 6, and 8. After the T20Is, ODIs are to be played on September 10, 12, and 15. The report also demonstrated that the team of Australia will fly to the UK by a private jet. All the scheduled games are expected to be played at Old Trafford in Manchester and in Southampton.
Both Manchester City and Southampton have hotels, which are much closed to the stadiums. Now on these grounds, England and West Indies players are playing their international Test series. After the England –West Indies series, England will play series with Pakistan.
Australia Preparations For The Tour:
Last week, the selectors of the Australian team named 26-man first list of players, from which the final team will be selected for the tour.
The chief of Cricket Australia, Ben Oliver had cleared that the England tour will be decided based on the rules, regulations, restrictions the players of Australia would face in the UK, and also after their arrival back home.
Oliver said “Undoubtedly, the safety as well as the health of the players, staff members, and public health component is very important. The arrangement related to Quarantine has not finalized yet. Undoubtedly, they will be taken place as per the general international travel so that is something all we are working through but it is on consideration.”
