Alexander Daniel Hale, the English cricketer has admitted that after returning from PSL, he is self-isolating at home. On Tuesday morning (17-03-2020), the organizers of PSL postponed the semi-finals and final for an indefinite period after a player had shown COVID-19 symptoms.

Wasim Khan, the chief executive of PCB said that “we can’t disclose the identity of that player”, but commentator of the tournament Ramiz Raja told to the reporters that “Alex Hales may have coronavirus symptoms before leaving PSL.” This comment of Ramiz Raja has created some kind of rumor that Alex Hales had tested positive for the COVID-19, which he refused to admit.

For this comment, Hales said that “The speculation, which is spreading in this cricket world, I felt I have to give the full description of my circumstances”.

Also, he added that “Like all overseas players, I also left PSL early after realizing the Covid-19 pandemic status. For me, it was more important to be with family rather than face a difficult situation far away from home.”

“In the early morning of Saturday, I was very much fit and returned to the UK. But on Sunday, when I woke up, I had a fever and followed the advice of the government to be self-isolated.”

Also, he cleared the rumor on his tweet that “Stop spreading fake news, it is a dangerous behaviour”.

According to the report of The Guardian also, after returning from Pakistan, Hales spent the whole Saturday meeting with Tom Curran but Curran is not among those six Surrey players confirmed by the club, who are in self-isolation on Monday.

After the suspension, all the players, staff, officials of the semi-final qualified four teams and also the broadcasters of the games will be tested for the Coronavirus.
