Abhishek Sharma was born on 4 September 2000 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Abhishek is a young Indian allrounder who can bat in the middle overs as well as can open the innings. He is a left-hand batter and bowls left-arm orthodox spin. The young lad came into the limelight when he picked 57 wickets in the Vijay Marchant Trophy Tournament in 2015-16. In 2016-17, Abhishek Sharma was appointed as captain of India Under 19 squad. He led his team to win the Asia Cup title in the season. He also led Indian team in many bilateral series.
During the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka Under 19 team, Abhishek Sharma took 4 wickets and helped his team in winning the title. Abhishek Sharma was also awarded with Player of the Match award.
