2020 IPL: CSK VS RR: RR Crush CSK And Won The Match By 7 Wickets

In the 37th match of the 2020 Indian Premier League, CSK captain MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first against Rajasthan Royals. In the 1st Innings, Chennai Super Kings posted 125 runs with the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs, in which Ravindra Jadeja only showed the intent and scored an unbeaten 35 runs.

In 126 runs chase of Rajasthan Royals, Ben Stokes was cleaned up in the last delivery of 2nd over by Deepak Chahar by scoring 19 runs. In the next over only,  Robin Uthappa dismissed by Josh Hazelwood while trying to scoop a slower one over the head of MS Dhoni, but caught by the CSK captain.

Another catch by MS Dhoni, and this time it was Sanju Samson. After a fast beginning, Rajasthan Royals already lost 3 crucial wickets. Over 5, RR-28/3.

Then a tremendous inning started. Steve Smith and Jos Buttlered stitched a wonderful 98*-runs partnership and the duo won the match for their team Rajasthan Royals from a shaky position. Rajasthan Royals got two points and these points will also provide them a boost in Net Run Rate. Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets.
