It is anticipated that India’s legendary batter VVS Laxman would assume coaching responsibilities for the country’s next tour to Ireland, which will begin on June 26. As everything is going on, India’s head coach Rahul Dravid will be in charge of coaching the senior member team for the rescheduled 5th Test and also the white-ball series in England.
However, it is anticipated that Rahul Dravid would join the senior traveling side following the conclusion of the South Africa T20I series which includes five matches starting on June 19 in Bangalore.

Laxman served as a batting coach for the Indian domestic side Bengal in addition to his duty as a coach with the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) before taking up his current post at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He was also the head coach of the Under-19 team that won the World Cup previously this year in the West Indies.
Well after the final result of the Indian Premier League (IPL), South Africa will travel to India for a five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. The Indian Cricket Board, BCCI likely to divide the team into two, with one squad consisting of the senior squad members preparing to tour England and the other team preparing to confront SA at home in India.
It has been reported that the very same Indian cricket team that competed in the series versus South Africa likely also travel to Dublin for a two-match Twenty20 International series versus Ireland. This will occur as the senior Indian players will continue to participate in the tour of England.
