Kohli and Dhawan didn’t lose the opportunity.

After registering an innings victory in Indore, India will meet Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata where the two teams will clash in the second match. It will be like an uphill task for the visitors to face Virat Kohli’s boys who are already performing very well. But more than a battle between the bat and the ball, this match will be more appealing because it will be the first-ever day-night Test in the subcontinent.

As the management of both sides is busy chalking out the strategies for their first-ever day-night Test. on the other hand, Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan had time to troll the deputy Ajinkya Rahane on social media after the latter was obsessing about the upcoming Test match. On Instagram, Rahane posted a picture on Monday night in which he is dreaming about the match.

Ajinkya Rahane gets trolled by Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan

“Already dreaming about the historic pink ball test,” the Test vice-captain said in a post on Instagram showing him sleeping with a pink ball lying next to him.

Kohli and Dhawan did not waste the opportunity. While Kohli said, “nice pose Jinksy”, the southpaw said, “Sapney mein pic khich gayi (someone clicked the picture while you were asleep).”

On Tuesday, Kohli and Rahane were the first to reach on the venue, much ahead of the rest of the squad members. On Tuesday, it was not known whether Kohli would visit Eden to have a look at the pitch. Kohli himself will be looking to score some runs as well, after being absent in the T20I series. He fell for a duck in the only innings that he played against Bangladesh.

Eden wicket has a green surface

At Eden, the wicket is expected to have a green surface and that would keep India’s in-form pace bowlers interested. On Monday, it was kept under covers by the curator Sujan Mukherjee.
