Amid the outbreak of coronavirus, there is a sudden fear around the world. Due to the increasing rate of the global pandemic, the Indian Premier League was canceled from 15-20 April. The IPL is scheduled to start on March 29.
The current state of cricket has allowed many cricketers to engage with their fans on social media, and many cricketers have tried to educate them during this global crisis. New Zealand’s first bowler Michelle McClenaghan, who plays for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, hosted an interactive session with his fans on Twitter.
Michelle McClenaghan is a prominent figure on social media. He often posts funny tweets and responses on his Twitter account. He has gained a considerable fan following on social media due to his witty remarks, and the recent left-arm fast bowler is holding a special questioning session with his Twitter fans.

During the session, one of the Indian fans asked the fast bowler who was his favorite player in the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise. The fast bowler from New Zealand did not take long to answer the question. According to him, his favorite player for the franchise is Ben Cutting, the Australian all-rounder.

Ben Cutting has been part of Sunrisers Hyderabad for two seasons in 2016 and 2017. The all-rounder from Queensland was part of the team that lifted the IPL trophy in 2016. Interestingly, the highlight of his IPL career was his appearance in 2016 final.
Cutting off Royal Challengers Bangalore, he scored 39 off 15 balls with four sixes and three fours. KL Rahul and Chris Gayle also took crucial wickets in that match. The Sunrisers won the title final by just four runs and lifted the trophy for the first and only time.
Ben Cutting will join the Mumbai Indians in 2018. McClenaghan and Cutting played for the Mumbai Indians in the previous two seasons. The all-rounder, of course, also played for the team during the 2019 win. But he was released before the 2020 bid.
Unfortunately, the attractive all-rounder did not find buyers in the 2020 IPL. The all-rounder announced his retirement from First Class and List A Cricket to focus on T20 cricket. Cutting plays for various franchises around the world.
