Melbourne Cricket Ground tweets about the IND vs PAK says “Cricket is Loading”. India will kick off its T20 World cup Campaign against Pakistan on October 23, 2022. Let us look at what MCG tweets on IND Vs PAK at ICC World Cup.

It will not just start the world cup campaign of both nations. It will be the first clash between the all-time favorite rivals IND-PAK. The Official Twitter handle of MCG shared some of the pictures of the works going on the historic playing field of Melbourne. So far, fans have been treated to three big clashes between two Asian giants. One in women’s and two in men’s cricket.

India and Pakistan women’s teams gave fans their first taste of this big rivalry on July 31st, 2022. Pakistan Bundled out for  99  in 18 overs and  Rana’s spin (2/15) made her tunes. Chasing 100 India did their job comfortably within 11.4 overs, with eight wickets in hand. And a massive knock by Mandhana of 63 in 42 deliveries guided them to the easy win. 

The men in blue later clashed on 28th to kick off Asia Cup 2022. Fans got one of the best clashes between the all-time favorite rivals. 

The MCG shared some pictures of the same on its Twitter and Facebook handles. A tractor-cum Bulldozer prepares the pitches the for the T20. In a Video, the ground staff was dismantling goalposts. Related to AFL on two of the ground ends. Captioned “The transformation continues… Goal post down”. 

Whereas, the tickets for this match have been sold out. Having the capacity of 1,00,000 would grace the intense match would be the first time the two sides would meet in a T20 down under. The last meeting between the two ended in Pakistan’s Favour. Also, the  T20WC favored men in green at gulf last year. Whereas India led on the board with 5-1 in six against the rival. 

Squad for the match predicted: 

India predicted playing XI: KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, R Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Sing 

Pakistan Predicted XI: Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk.), Fakhar Zaman, Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Shadab Khan, Usman Qadir, Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah. 

IND VS PAK will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 23rd October.
