According to the news agency PTI, BCCI CEO Hemang Amin drafted the report that described the work done by the NCA in relation to the rehabilitation of players from all age categories during the previous season.
Seventy players, both male, and female attended the NCA for medical care. 23 of them were members of the senior national team. The former captain has been rested in between series. In order to rest up for the Asia Cup, Kohli decided not to tour the West Indies and Zimbabwe.
Numerous of these players have experienced freak accidents. And because the team management has placed a strong emphasis on strength and conditioning. The NCA fitness crew has been quite busy.
BCCI also quoted.
“But you have to give it to Kohli’s fitness that he has managed himself. So well that he never had any muscle- or hamstring-related issues. Mostly because of the kind of fitness work he undertakes throughout the year.”
Over the past few years, Virat Kohli has done a good job of managing his workload. The former skipper missed playing County Cricket for Surrey in 2018 due to a back injury. But he has been on top of his game ever since.
As a result of his outstanding showings in the Asia Cup and the home series against Australia and South Africa. Kohli will enter the T20 World Cup, which begins on October 16, with a lot of confidence.
