On December 15, Karachi will play host to the PSL 8 player draft. The Pakistan Super League 2023 player draft has drawn interest from more than 500 overseas athletes, including Matthew Wade and Aaron Finch of Australia. This comes as an setback for the Indian Premier League 2023, whose player auction is slated to take place on December 23, 2022 in Kochi. Notably, several IPL aspirants will also participate in the PSL draft.
The bulk of players who did sign up for the PSL are from England, according to the list of players with Geo News, from which clubs will be able to choose 138 individuals for the league’s most recent season.
For the players’ draft, the following players sign up: A total of 40 players from the West Indies, 46 players from Afghanistan, 16 players from Australia, 30 players from Bangladesh, 6 players from New Zealand, 26 players from South Africa, 62 players from Sri Lanka, and 11 players from Zimbabwe.
IPL franchises will also keep an eye on the PSL Draft, which is set to begin on December 15.

Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade, Shakib Al Hasan, Alex Hales, David Willey, Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali, Jimmy Neesham, David Miller, Adil Rasheed, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Kieron Pollard, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Mohammad Nabi, Martin Guptil, and Lungi Ngid are among those who qualify for the platinum category.
Diamond
Carlos Brathwaite, Imran Tahir, Saqib Mehmood, James Vince, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiq ur Rahim, Hazratullah Zazai, Will Jacks, Reeza Hendricks, Shai Hope, Sikandar Raza, and other performers are in the Diamond category.
Gold
Two South Africans, Junior Dala and Temba Bavuma, are in registers for the PSL player draft’s Gold division.
Players Availability for PSL
But a few players from Bangladesh and England, such as Shakeeb ul Hassan, Moeen Ali, and David Willey. They are only partially available. Their availability is contingent upon what is the side for the bilateral series between the two countries.
Players from South Africa and the West Indies may also be partially available due to the bilateral series that both teams are set to play in February.
IPL 2023 MINI AUCTION
On November 30, 2022, the IPL Player Registration period ended. The IPL 2023 Player Auction will take place on December 23, 2022, in Kochi. It will include a total of 991 players (714 Indian and 277 foreign).
The list of players includes 20 players from Associate Nations, 786 uncapped players, and 185 players with caps.
